You don’t choose your Adsense ads in your site but you can reel in the better ones with a little tweaking of the content. If your content is filled with references to say, fishing, you can be sure a lot of fishing ads will find their way to your site.

The ideal thing to do would be to get yourself an Adsense Tracker and keep testing till you hit on a winning format. Some swear by the large rectangle format, some feel the ad should merge with the background with the same color. Still others feel that the best place for the Adsense ads is in the center or the top left. Try them all out and keep testing till you know what works best for your web site.

You can do it by making sure you select topics that bring in higher bids from Adsense advertisers and even creating full web sites and pages on those topics. The Internet has many tools to help you find the topics that are high paying and they could be both free and paid.

First, aim for the best effective CPM by building web sites and pages based on high paying topics. Then make sure you get the best Clickthroughs by effectively placing your Adsense ads. Finally, try and drive targeted traffic to your site so you get the maximum impressions.
